Farmer Market

Farmer market is very active during spring and summer season in Northern Virginia. You will find a lot of herb seedlings and decorative patio baskets in the first few weeks of spring. I love walking through a local market around my house. It is always nice to meet our local farmers, talking and getting to know them. And I truly appreciate their passion and hard work. Each of them has a nice dairy story to share with local shoppers. Walking through the market is my way of relaxing and restoring my energy on a nice Sunday morning.

The weather has been very nice for Northern Virginia area this summer (It is my first summer here in Nova and I have nothing to compare with but this is what I was told by many folks here.)  Well, there is nothing to complaint about. My kid is now back to school and I’m back focusing on my business. Love coming back to DC Meet Market on 1st Saturday of each month. If you miss the fair last Saturday, I have a few pictures to share with you.

Leaving Sacramento has never been easy for me. I came to Sacramento in January 2008. Back then Sacramento was completely a foreign land for me, however, I promised myself that I would be opened mind, ready to learn others, not to mention that I also searched my new passion as well. Finally, I found all of them in Sacramento, California. I had met many wonderful families and friends and found my new passion, Pure Palette Soy Candles and Personal Care Products.

Thank you to Sac Etsy Team, I had met many talented crafters and small business owners alike. You all had taught and helped me growing my business.  And most of all, I could not be able to continue my business if it was not my local Sacramento customers. You helped me to discover myself and motivate me to be better.

                              THANK YOU!

Visting Local Lavender Farmer

Spending time at The Lamm Farm on Sunday afternoon was fun outing for me. The Lamm Farm is one of our local lavender farms located in Lincoln, California. Amy Dempster has grown up in the farm and has decided to grow several types of lavenders at her parent farm land. Lavenders were planted last year and yesterday was her first open house to show her lavender farm to her friends and family. Thank you Amy for inviting me to explore and be inspired by your hard work to turn your land to a wonderful lavender land. ImageAmy Dempster, The Lamm Farm, was greeting me with lavender lemonade and lavender brownie.

I was enjoy scenting great fresh lavender.

And of course, I had to grab a few bundles of dried lavender with me which I could use them to decor my booth . My next events will be in July, however, you can visit my site anytime 24/7 at http:www.purepalettescents.com.
